Feelings of being alone with no one to talk to

Human beings are social animals. God made us that way. Creator made “human” to be social so he could cohabit with us and in us. When we face a personal crisis, often times the worst part of the event is the feeling of being alone, abandoned, unable to deal with it, feeling inadequate. Feeling like I need to talk to someone about it and if I do not have anyone that can fill that place for me, then the universe opens up into an endless black void and we are alone…….

My divorce was in 1993. I enjoy my independence. In most cases I enjoy making my own decisions and living or dying by them.

Fact is, everyone is “alone”. I was raised as an “only” child. I used to watch the kids around me in big families with lots of brothers and sister and think how wonderful it must be to never be alone.  Most probably, they had days when they looked at me and though how wonderful it must be to be an only child.  We are all the same in this respect. We are all unique sentient beings. We are made ONE like creator being. In our best day and in our worst day we are ONE.  Those feelings about wanting to talk to someone is the way Creator  felt before she spoke us into existence through the word. In those moments of experiencing “alone”  we are “suffering like Creator GOD”.

It is important not to get stuck in the sand, spinning in quicksand, shut down, in a stance of waiting for someone to talk to. They can be a listening ear. We can say out our mouths what is going on with us and in that way talk our way to a resolution. We can do this anytime any place with or without another person taking part. Whatever the outcome either way it is still us taking that next step. One step at a time. Moving forward. It is me and only me that can do that with me.  No one else can make me stuck. No one else can make me move. It is all me.

Me against me. Me for me. Me talking to me. Sorting through the issues and coming to a conclusion to move to resolution.

Selah.
