Day 38 Chapter 7 The Second Creation

So let’s talk about this for a bit. In a nutshell explanation, in the beginning G-D created the heavens and the earth, Genesis 1:1. The war happened. And earth was without form and void, Genesis 1:2. God started over.

Genesis 2:4b begins the record of the second creation.

In THE DAY that The Lord G-D made the earth and the heavens.

It is important to note the designation for G-D the ONE is here The Lord G-D after the ONE original being, Creator G-D judged Lucifer for rebelling and cast him out of the throne. Since Lucifer had tried to say he was the one who created all that is , the ONE who created in truth is now The Lord G-D. The word THE designates singularity, ONE. It also directs the oneness to the subject. Creator G-D won the war and took back the throne established his dominion. He earned the title THE Lord G-D. Lord of all gods/immortals. Using this title for Creator G-D in Genesis 2:4ff is evidence these Bible passages are about the second creation.

The Lord G-D completed the second creation in “a day’. The first creation took six “days”.

Genesis 2:5 tells us:

when no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up-for The Lord G-D had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no one to till the ground (the adamah);

In the first creation the earth yielded up its fruit. No need to till the ground. A mist like the dew sometimes seen in the morning covered the earth in the first creation so that there was no need for it to rain. This passage clearly states no plant or herb was in the field yet so this is clearly after the earth was without form and void. Otherwise, the plants and trees of the fifth day would be there.

v 6 but a stream would rise from the earth, and water the whole face of the ground (adamah).

Second creation had waters rise from the earth. First creation a mist covered the adamah and it produced of itself.
